Docket No. 50-285

Dear Mr. Denise:

Fraudulent Products Sold by Ray Miller, Inc.

(IE Bulletin 83-07)

The Omaha Public Power District has reviewed the vendor and end-user information contained in IE Bulletin 83-07 and its two supplements to determine if we have received any fraudu-lent products sold by Ray Miller, Inc.

After an extensive search of District records by our Quality Assurance Depart-ment, we have concluded the District has not received any fraudulent Ray Miller products from any of the companies listed in the subject bulletin.

Supplement 1 of the subject bulletin, which the District received on November 1,

3983, indicated that Combustion Engineering, Inc. was a possible source of these fraudulent Ray Miller products since they had received Ray Miller products from Reco Industries.

Com-bustion Engineering has assured the District by telephone that none of these products were supplied to the District.

The District is presently awaiting written confirmation on this issue from Combustion Engineering.

Receipt of this t

i verification will conclude our investigation into this matter.
