HPCI steam supply was reset at 2201 hours0.0255 days 0.611 hours 0.00364 weeks 8.374805e-4 months . (LCR 84-010).

02-05-84 At 1043 hours0.0121 days 0.29 hours 0.00172 weeks 3.968615e-4 months , low Inlet air temperature caused Isolation of control building ve n t i l a t i o n and Initiation of the Intake "B"

standby filter unit (SFU).

The electrical current to 3 of the 4 heaters used to prevent condensate buildup in steam drain lines was slightly lower than specified in the STP.

Two repeated tests founo the current satisfactory. After engineering re vi ew concluded that the system was operational and fully capable of performing its function, the LCO was cancelled.

02-14-84 At 1500 hours0.0174 days 0.417 hours 0.00248 weeks 5.7075e-4 months sur ve i l l ance testing of a pressure differential instrument switch measuring detta P between the core spray sparger and the reactor pressure ve s s e l found PDIS-2139 slightly out of calibration. Redundant switch PDIS-2119 was in calibration and fully operable.

02-24-84 At 0810 hours0.00938 days 0.225 hours 0.00134 weeks 3.08205e-4 months , the "B" Emergency Service Water (ESW) was declared inoperable when an auto vent va l ve would not seat.

The ESW loop was declared inoperable and an LCO commenced.

The vent val ve failure resulted in approximately a 10% reduction in ESW pump flow.

At 1216 hours0.0141 days 0.338 hours 0.00201 weeks 4.62688e-4 months , the "B" ESW pump was started following vent va l ye maintainance and the proper operation of the auto vent was verffled.

At 1320 hours0.0153 days 0.367 hours 0.00218 weeks 5.0226e-4 months , the "B" ESW loop was declared operable cancelling the LCO.

02-29-84 During sur olliance testing of HPCI, a steam stop va l ve failed to open In the required time af ter the - Aux. oil pump was started.

In response, at 1200 hours0.0139 days 0.333 hours 0.00198 weeks 4.566e-4 months , HPCl was declared inoperable and a 7 day LCO was commenced.

(LER 84-012 pending).

Normal Plant operation at 550 MWe-Gross.
