Catawba Nuclear Station Docket Nos. 50413 and 50-414 1994 FSAR Update -

Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.71(e), please find enclosed the original and ten copies of the 1994 Catawba Nuclear Station Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR).

While the effective date of the changes provided by this submittal is October 1,1994, several significant revisions subsequent to October 1,1994 have been incorporated in an effort to maintain the FSAR as up-to-date as possible.

As a result of revisions to and in accordance with 10 CFR 50.71(c)(4), the frequency of subsequent updated Catawba FSAR submittals, for both units, will be six (6) months after Unit 2 refueling outages. Currently, the next Unit 2 refueling outage is scheduled to end November 29,1995.
