ylRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY HQRTH ANN A POWER STATION UNIT 1 TRANSMITTAL OF THE WESTINGHOUSE WCAP REPORTS BESPONSE TO NRC REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION BEGARDING THE STEAM GENERATOR OPERATING CYCLE EVALUATIQB On December 9,1991, Virginia Electric and Power Company submitted a letter to the NRC l> response to the NRC's request for additionalinformation regarding our North Anna Unit 1 Steam Generator Operating Cycle Evaluation Report. The response was provided in the form of a Westinghouse propriotary report, NSD TAP 1131, entitled "Rosponses to NRC Ouestions on the Steam Generator Operating Cycle Evaluation for North Anna Unit 1."
Our transmittal letter discussed that proprietary and non-proprietary versions of the report would F provided in accord 6nce with the requirements of 10 CFR 2. 700. This lotter transmits the Westinghouse proprietary and non proprietary versions of the above material.
Enclosed are ten copies each of WCAP 13120, "Responso to NRC Request for Additional Information on North Anna Unit 1 Steam Generator Operating Cycle Evaluation" (Proprietary) (Attachment 1) and WCAP 13121 " Response to-NRC Request for Additional Information on North Anna Unit 1 Steam Generator Operating Cycle Evaluation" (Non Proprietary) (Attachment 2). Also enclosed is a Westinghouse authorization lettor, CAW 91245, with an accompanying Affidavit, Proprietary Information Notice, and Copyright Notice (Attachment 3).
l As WCAP 13120-_contains information proprietary to Westinghouse Electric Corporation, it is supported by an affidavit signed by Westinghouse, the owner of the information. The affidavit sets forth the basis on which the information mny be withhold from public disclosure-by the Commission and addressos with specificity the conderations listed in paragraph (b)(4) of 10 CFR Section 2.700 of the Commission's regulations. Accordingly, it is respectfully requested that t'n information which is propriotart to Westinghouse be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10.
CFR Sect on 2.790 of the Commission's regulations.
