Commonwealth Edison Company (Comed) met with the United States Nuclear 1
Regulatory Commission (NRC) Staff on February 23,1995, to discuss Comed's proposed amendment to Byron Unit 1 and Braidwood Unit i Technical Specifications to allow a 3.0 volt alternate plugging criteria for steam generator tubes experiencing outside diameter stress corrosion cracking within the bounds of the tube support plates.
At that meeting the Westinghouse Electric Corporation (Westinghouse) presented proprietary information during the slide presentation. Westinghouse agreed to provide proprietary and non-proprietary versions of the slide presentation as soon as they could be made available. This documentation is now available.
Accordingly, enclosed you will find copies of WCAP-14343, " Slide Presentation Material NRC Meeting of February 23,1995, Alternate Plugging Criteria with Tube Expansion for the Braidwood I and Byron 1 Model D4 Steam Generators," dated April 1995 (Proprietary Class 2) and WCAP-14344, " Slide Presentation Material, NRC kAnla\\byrbwd\\stmgenAwlOO wpf\\l k0 l lNf 95080203209507h1 i /

As WCAP-14343 contains information proprietary to the Westinghouse Electric Corporation, it is supported by an affidavit signed by Westinghouse, the owner of the information. The affidavit sets forth the basis on which the information may be withheld from public disclosure by the Commission and addresses with specificity the considerations listed in Paragraph (b)(4) of Section 2.790 of the Commission's regulations. Accordingly, it is respectfully requested that the information which is proprietary to Westinghouse be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations.
Correspondence with respect to the proprietary aspects of the items listed above or the supporting Westinghouse Affidavit should reference CAW-95-826 and should be addressed to N. J.
