Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit No. I and No. 2 l BV-1 Docket No. 50-334, License No. DPR-66 BV-2 Docket No. 50-412, License No. NPF-73 Proposed Operating License Change Request Nos. 221 and 90 Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.90, Duquesne Light Company requests an amendment to the above licenses in the form of changes to the technical specifications. The proposed l change will modify the Limiting Condition for Operation 3.8.1.1 titled, "A.C. Sources-Operating," and associated surveillance requirements. This proposed amendment represents the revised proposed operating license change request discussed in the Duquesne Light Company letter to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission dated September 6,1994. An implementation period of 60 days is requested following the effective date of the amendment.

The proposed technical specification changes for Unit No. I and Unit No. 2 are presented in Attachments A-1 and A-2, respectively. The safety analysis (including the no significant hazards evaluation)is presented in Attachment B. The typed replacement technical specification pages are presented in Attachments C-1 and C-2.

This change has been reviewed by the Onsite Safety Committee and Offsite Resiew Committee. The change was determined to be safe and does not involve a significant hazard consideration as defined in 10 CFR 50.92 based on the attached safety analysis.
