Update of the Appendix 9A Reactor Ilullding Fire llazard Analysis

Submittal of Amendment 6 to GE's ABWR SSAR, MFN No. 025-89, dated March 31,1989

- Enclosed are thirty-four (34) copies of the subject fire hazard analysis update. This update provides a reactor building fire hazard analysis that is consistent with the current reactor building arrangement. The reactor build:ng fire protection drawings in Appendix 9A are based on the current reactor building arrangements that will be provided in Section 1.2 in January,1992.

Appendix 9A contains information that is designated as General Electric Company proprietary information and this update provided primarily corrections or additions to its earlier proprietary submittals. The proprietary affidavit (Reference) under which it was originally issued is applicable to these pages. Provided in this submittal are non-proprietary table of content pages which were included -for completeness.

It is intended that GE will amend the SSAR, where appropriate, with this update in a future amendment.
