Description of Occurrence During routine instrument surveillance testing; dPIS-2-13-83 was found to trip at 455 inches H O differential and 451 inches H O 2
2 differential on switches 1 and 3 respectively. The Technical Spectfication limit is i450 inches H O differential.
2 Designation of Apparent Cause of Occurrence:
Setpoint shi f t wi thin the accuracy of the instrument.
Analysis of Occurrences The safety implications are minimal since the setpoint shif t was very small and the companion redundant switch was tested 6nd found to trip wi thin the Technical Speci fication limi ts.
Corrective Action:
The swl tches were adjusted and checked for proper cali bra tion in accordance with the applicabic survei11ance test.
Failurn Data:
A similar setpoint shif t of dPIS-2-23-76 was reported on 9/20/74 as Abnormal Occurrence 50-277-74-41.
