SUMMARY

MONTil: June 1995 McGuire Unit I began the month of June operating at 100% full power. The unit operated at or near 100%

full power until 06/28/95 at 1345, when the unit began decreasing power because the diesel generators were declared inoperable due to the turbochargers. The unit was taken off-line 06/28/95 at 1804 because the diesel generators were declared inoperable due to the turbochargers. The unit was in the outage the rema'nder of the month.

NARRATIVE

SUMMARY

I MONTil: June 1995 McGuire Unit 2 began the month of June operating at 100% full power. The unit operated at or near 100%

full power until 06/28/95 at 1345. when the unit began decreasing power because the diesel generators were declared inoperable due to the turbochargers. The unit held at 28% power from 1747 to 2000 and at 42%

power from 06/28/95 at 2230 to 06/29/95 at 0937 after the NRC granted permission to halt load reduction to ensure power supply stability because the diesel generators were declared inoperable due the turbochargers. The unit held again at 48% power from 1020 to i 147 to calibrate power range detectors. The ,

unit returned to 100% full power on 06/30/95 at 0030 and operated at or near 100% full power the remainder of the month.
