AWPP requests the following re Contention-VI-l (Quality Assur-ance/ Control) AWPP requests specific material that will not re- -

quire searching through voluminous records.  ;

Re" Applicant's Interium Report to the Licensing Board Relating to Contention VI-1" dated Sept. 16, 1983, in particular, Affi- E davit of Vincent St Boyer, wherein Mr. Boyer affirms "there are -

(c) 19 minor deficiencies out of 47 is approximately 25%. -

Is 25% of welds previously inspected and checked off as properly performed permitted by QA/QC of the NRC?

(d) Re_ par. 14, What does Applicant mean by "represen-tative number of welds for which the subject inspec-tor was responsible?

(e) How many welds will be in the " representative number"?

(f) Who determines which welds will be in the "repre-sentative number" selected?

(g) What is the total proportion which the "represen-tative sample" is to represent?

(h) Will that number meet statistical procedures re val- <

idity of results?

I (i) Please provide affidavit that above statistical stap-dard is met.

(j) Please provide complete, information, reports, logs, inspectors involved, tests to be run, welds involved and locations of such welds.

(k) Were any other welders or welding inspectors separated discharged, or transferred due to improper workmanship, efficiency, or other deficiency, including use of l drugs or alcohol.
