o REACTOR COOLANT DRAIN TANK OPERATION 1.0 PURPOSE AND SCOPE This crocedure is to orovide instructions for an initial valve, breaker and switch lineuo for the Reactor Coolant Drain Tank (RCDT) subsystem of the Licuid Radwaste System.

Provision is also made for recirculation of the RCDT con-tents at a maximum flowrate by hvoassino RCDT Pumos Discharge Heat Exchancer Recirculation Throttle, RB-V-0040.

2.0 PRECAUTIONS AND LIMITATIONS 2.1 To orevent oumo cavitation, RCDT Pumo A or RCDT Pumo B, should not be coerated when RCDT level is 10% or less.

2.2 To orevent overoressurization of the RCDT Heat Exchancer, RCDP Pumo A and Pumo B discharoe throttle valves should be adiusted to maintain flow less than 140 com.

2.3 Both RCDT oumos should not be coerated at the same time unless the RCDT Heat Exchancer Bvpass is onen.

3.0 MATERIALS AND EOUIPMENT None 4.0 INITIAL CONDITIONS 4.1 Gaseous Radwaste Svstem is in ooeration to remove waste cas from the RCDT.

4.2 Service Gas System is in oceration to supply hydrocen to the RCDT.

4.3 Soool cieces for draining accumulator tanks and reactot coolant looos are not installed.

4.4 Comoonent cooline water is flowing throuch the RCDT Heat Exchancer.

5.2.3 Ooen RCDT Pumos Discharge Heat Exchancer Recir-cul.ation Flow Clement Bveass Hand Control Val.ve, RB-RV-7143 by turning RCDT Pumos Dis-charoe Meat Exchancer Recirculation Flow Ele-l ment Bveass Rand Switch, RB-HS/-1003E (Panel 115) to the OPEN Dosition.

5.2.4 Purn RCUT Pumo A Handswitch, RB-Hs/-1003A (Panel 115) or RCDT Pumo B Handswitch, RB-HS/-1003B (Pane l. 115) to the S? ART copition.

Rel. ease handswitch to the AUTO position when red 1.icht comes on.

5.2.5 When recircul.ation is complete, stoo the oner-ating RCDT puro by turning RCDT Pumo A or B handswi.tch to the STOP position.

0 LAUNDRY AND HOT SHOWER TANK OPERATION 1.0

. PURPOSE AND SCOPE This procedure is to provide instructions for an initial valve and breaker lineup of the Laundry and Hot Shower Tank (LHST) subsystem of The normal valve the Liquid Radwaste System.

lineup provides a flowpath from the LHST to the Reverse. Osmosis (R.O.) Unit except for opening the Reverse Osmosis Process Unit Supply isola-tion, HB-V-0223.

The normal valve lineup also provides a flowpath from the R.O. Unit to the Laundry ter Storage Tank (LWST) through the LHST Charcoal Absorber.

Provision is also made to recirculate the LHST.

2.0 PRECAUTIONS AND LIMITATIONS do not line up To prevcnt overflow of the LHST, 2.1 tank to receive liquid when tank level is above 85%.

To prevent pump cavitation, do not operate the 2.i LHST. Pump when the tank leve.1 in less than 10%.

The LHST Pump Discha'ge Strainer should be r

2.3 cleaned when the differential pressure reaches 20 psid.

'The LHST Filter should be replaced when the 2.4 differential pressure reaches 20 psid.

3.0 MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT None 4.0 INITIAL CONDITIONS Ensure Checklist No. 1 in procedure RTN-HB-4.1 00007, LAUNDRY WATER STORAGE TANK OPERATION, has been completed.

LAUNDRY WATER STORAGE TANK OPERATION I

1.0 PURPOSE AND SCOPE Thia procedure is to provide an initial valve 1.1 and bre::ker lineup.for the Laundry Water I

Storage Tank subsystem of the Liquid Radwaste The normal lineup will provide water System.

and to Washing Machine A, Washing Machine B, I

Laundry Dishwasher when they are running.

i Provision is also made for recirculation of the contents of the Laundry Water Storage Tank (LWST).

2.0 PRECAUTIONS AND LIMITATIONS To prevent pun,p cavitation, do not operate the 2.1 LWST Pump when the tank level is less than 10%.

To prevent overflow of the LWST do not lineup 2.2 task to receive liquid when tank level is above 85%.

NOTE The LWST Pump runs on demand in the AUTO position.

The pump shuts off in AUTO when the LWST l

level reaches 5%.

2.0 PRECAUTIONS AND LIMITATIONS 2.1 To orevent ovei-flow of WMT A, do not line un tank to receive licuid if level exceeds 85%.

2.2 To orevent oumo cavitation, do not coerate FDT Pumo A or B when' tank level is less than 10%.

2.3 FDT Pumos A and B Discharge Filter should be reolaced when the differential pressure reaches 20 osid.

2.4 FDT Pumos A and B Discharge Strainer should be cleaned when the differential oressure reaches 20 osid.
