PERSONNEL / VEHICLE MONITORING AND DECO?CAMINATION
- 1. 0 PURPOSE AND SCOPE The ourooce of.this crocedure 'is to orovide auidance to cersonnel resconsible for cersonnel/uehicle monitorina and decontamina-tion acti"ities durine emercencies when nor-mal orocedures cannot he effectivelv imolemented. This crocedure also orovides the follow-uo actions necessarv to assure crocer documentation of events.
2.0 RESPONSI3ILITIES 2.1 The Health Physics Coordinator (HPC), or, uoon actiuntion of the Ocerational Succort Center (OSC), the Radiolocical Controls Coor-dinator (RCC) shall be resconsible for ensur-inc that eersonnel/uehicle monitorina and cersonnel decontamination are cerformed in accordance with Sections 4.1, 4.2, and 4.3 of this oroc.edure.
I 2.2 Radwaste shall be resconsible for ensurinc that vehicle and equioment decon't amination
, activities are oerformed in accordance with Sections 4.4 and 4.5 of this crocedure.
3.0 INITIATING CONDITIONS This crocedure shall be imolemented when the followino conditions exist:

1 4.0 PROCEOURE 4.1 EMERGENCY CCORDINATOR The Emergency Coordinator should ensure the following actions are completed:
s 4.1.1 Sound the Plant Emergency Alarm. ,

The announcement should contain at the minimum:

4.2.1 When departing work areas leave the area and equipment in a safe condition.
4.2.2 If in a high noise area and a blue flashing light is seen, proceed to a low noise area to hear the announcement.
4.2.3 If the announcement following an Emergency Alarm was missed or not understood, ask other personnel the content of the announcement.
4.2.3.1 If the content of the announcement cannot be obtained, proceed to the Security Building for message content or clarification.
4.2.4 If in a Radiological Controlled Area (RCA),
and instructed to leave the RCA, exit in ac-cordance with normal procedures.
S 4.2.5 When exiting a Security Access Control
