Leakage from feedvater check valve 6-96A (outboard)..
Conditions Prior to Occurrence:.
Unit critical, starting.up.
Description.of Occurrence:
Water was found to be leaking from the bonnet joint on the outboard feedvater check valve 6-96A.
Designation of Apparent Cause of Occurrence:
Under investigation Analysis of Occurrence:
The safety inplication of this occurrence is minimal,sinie under normal, conditions, the leak. is feedwater, and depressurization and' shutdown was. initiated when the leak was discovered.
l Corrective Action:
l The failure is being repaired and will be tested.
