In the afternoon of Novenbar 1. during conduct of Reactor Protection Synton Surveillance Testing, a Serna Diucharge Volune High Water Level Switch (LSit 3-231C) failed to actuate on high water inval. *1111n conctitutes a l
violation of the icvol not point specified in Table 3.1.1 of Technical Spootfications, which requiren actuation at a oct point of g 24 gallons.
The reactor was at approxinately 54% power at the tino of thin occurrence.
The ouitch float chamber was irmediately cleaned and flushed and the rnritch van functionally tested and verified to be operabic within the tolerance apacified. This remedial action van compinted within one half hour and precluded the necessity to insert control rodo as required by Note 3.a to Table 3.1.1.
