P.xcessive leakage drywell 02 Analyzer Sample System Inner Isolation Valve (SV-3671C).
Conditions Prior to Occurrence:
Unit 3 at 99.5% power.
Description of Occurrence:
While performing Survaillance Test 6.2 PCIS normally open valves, this valve failed to seat.
Measured leakage was in excess of 50incfh.
Designation of Apparent Cause of Occurrence.
The cause for this valve leakage is under investigation.
Analysis of Occurrence:
The safety implications of this occurrence are minimal since the outer isolation

valve SV-3978C did close and seat.
Corrective Action:
T.41s valve will be maintained when plant conditions permit.
Subsequent to repa the valve will be tested to verify that the repair is satisfactory.

A previous failure was reported as an Abnormal OccurrenDe on 11/9/73.
