2A High Pressure Service Water p u= p failed to start.
Conditions P.rior to Occurrence:
Unit 2 at 555 power.
Description of Occurrence:
While performing routine surveillance test 'ST 6.10 on the High Pressure Service *a~ater Syste=, the 2A pumpa failed to start.
Investiga. tion reveale that the breaker cell switch support van bent.
Designation of Apparent Cause of Occurrence:
apparently. bent.during' an operator The breaker cell switch support was qualification. test on July 29, 1975 in which the breaker was racked out and in.
Because there was no " work" associeted with this test, the pump was not run after the breaker was restored to service.
Analysis of Occurrence:
There are four High Pressure Service Wate} pumps, any one of which may supply any RER heat exchanger.
Technical Specifications permit operation for 15 days with 3 pumps out of service.
Therefore, the effect.on plant safety is sinimal.
Corrective Action:
