Reactor Recirculation Systen Outboard Sample Isolation Valve, AO-2-2-L@
failure to close during test.
Conditione Prior to Occurrence:
Unit 2 reactor shut'down..
Description of Occurrence:
During the performance of ST 1.3, the PCIS Logic System Functional Testo valve AO-2-2-hD failed to close.
Designation of Apparent Cause of Occurrence:
Stuck solenoid valve.
Analysis of Occurrence:
The cafety significance of this occurrence is minimal since the inboard isolation valve AO-2-2-35 was found to close satisfactorily.
Corrective Action:
The solenoid valve was disassembled, cleaned.and repaired.
The valve was retested subsequent to repair.
In the interin, the inboard isolati@
valve AO-2-2-3d was caintained closed.
