SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT (SQN) - DOCKET NO. 50-327 - FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE DPR SPECIAL REPORT 91-16 This special report provides details concerning auxiliary building Fire Door A-5 being breached for greater than seven days to_ facilitate the IB residual heat removal room cooler replacement and to allow temporary ventilation to be established for room cooling. This report is being made in accordance with Technical Specification Action Statement 3.7.12.a..The enclosure contains the detalls concerning the condition.

-On' October 21, 1991, with Unit 1 shut down for refueling activities, auxiliary building. Door A-5 was breached to facilitate the IB residual heat removal (RHR) pump room cooler replacement and to allow temporary ventilation to be.
established for the room. The breach was to remain in effect as necessary to support replacement of the room cooler. A fire watch was established in accordance with-technical specifications.
On October 29 1991, at 0700 Eastern standard time the temporary ventilation was removed and the door was closed.
