TENNESSEE VALLEY AUTHORITY - BROWNS FERRY UUCLEAR PLANT UNIT 1 - DOCKET NO. 50-259 - FACILITY OPERATING LICE!. , DPR ENVIROM:EUTAL AENOR:<AL OCCURREUCE REPOR BF EA0~73hhW THROUGH T3h8W The purpose of this report is to provide written notice of fish killed when impinged on the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant unit 1 intake screens. Thic report is required by section h.1.2(f) of our environmental technical specifications.

These incidents were reported to the Region II Regulatory Operations Office by telephone or telegram within a short time after each occurrence. Each of these incidents occurred while washing the circulating water pump traveling screens at the pumping station and van similar to the occurrences which were reported for BF EAO-732U-7343W. The tabulation below gives the date of each occurrence and the estimates of the fish impinged. ,

By actual count by tent perconnel, the fich impinged and killed totaled 3,h66 chad and 400 of other cpecies.

Numberc of fich impinced estimated by the method outlined in the plant environmental teci.uical crecifications were 1cos than the reporting limito, and no telephone report of an environmental abnormal occurrence was made.
