Guyon 1/2" Socket Couplings
Dear Mr. Gagliardo:
On June 17, 1983, Kansas Gas and Electric Company reported a potential 10CFR50.55(e) matter concerning Guyon 1/2" Socket Couplings,and additional information was subsequently provided in the Reference.
The Architect / Engineer has completed the evaluation of this concern and has determined that had the condition gone uncorrected, it would not have adversely affected safety of operations. There-fore, KG&E has concluded that this concern is not reportable pursuant to 10CFR50.55(e).
