Docket Hos. 50-361 and 50-362 Prompt Report License Condition 2.C.(14)a and 2.C.(12)a San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Units 2 and 3 Pursuant to License Condition 2.G to Facility Cperating License NPF-10 and NPF-15 for San Onofre Units 2 and 3, respectively, this submittal provides written confirmation of our notification to the NRC on August 25, 1983, of a reportable occurrence associated with inoperable fire rated assemblies.
License Conditions 2.C.(14)a and 2.C.(12)a of Operating License NPF-10 and NPF-15, respectively, require that SCE maintain in effect and fully implement the Fire Protection Plan as delineated in the Fire Hazards Analysis (FRA).
During the August 18-month surveillance inspection of fire rated assemblies, it was determined that five penetrations in fire t-rated walls listed in the Fire Hazards Analysis (FHA) had not been sealed.
Uhen the missing fire penetration seals were identified during the surveillance inspection, compensatory fire watches were maintained or initiated pursuant to Technical Specification 3.7.9 Action Statement
