Effectiveness gentification of Event:

The security computer was out of service for a short period and some key card readers failed when the security computer was brought back on line. Reportable under paragraph 73.71(C) of 10 CFR part 73.

Description of Event:

When it was brought back Poder lost testing, tripped the security computer. Technicians on line,' same'keycard readers and multiplex units were inoperative.

reset' the keycard readers, replaced fuses in some multiplex units and restored In the future security & technicians will be notified all systems to normal.

Security effectiveness was re-established intnediately via conpensatoryCom iacasures without incident.
