A #ECIAL PLANT REVIEW COMMITTEE MEETING WAS CONVENED AT 1300 HOURS TO EVALUATE PROBLEM.
THE COMMITTEE REVIEWED BOTH THE

OPERATING AND MAINTENANCE HISTORY OF THE DIESEL.
IT W A S CO N-CLUDED THAT THE MOST PROBABLE CAUSE OF THE DELAY IN STARTING r
WAS THAT THE FUEL OIL SYSTEM WAS NOT FULLY PR!MED.
k' COMMITTEE RECOMMENDED THAT DIESEL BE RETESTED kHEN DIESEL COOLS DOWN TO CONFIRM THAT WE NO LONGER HAVE A PROBLEM OTHER THAN FUEL OIL HEADER PRIMARY AND THAT A CHECK SHEET BE DRAWN UP AND IM-
?LEMENTED SUCH THAT PERSONNEL PRIME THE FUEL OIL HEADER DAILY.
COMMITTEE ALSO ASSIGNED PLANT EN3INEERING DEPARTMENT THE T ASK OF FURTHER INVESTIG ATION AND TESTING 'TO ATTEMPT TO SHOW MORE CONCt.USIVEtY THAT THE PROBLEM IS INDEED FUEL OIL PRIMING.
