VIRGINlA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY HQBIH ANNA POWER STATION UNIT NOS.1 AND 2 GENERATOR BREAKER INSTALLATION GENERAL DESIGN CRITERION 17 ANALYS[S Virginia Electric and Power Company letter dated January 29,1986 provided an analysis regarding the installation of a generator breaker on North Anna Unit 2 and load shed scheme removal plans on North Anna Unit 1. The analysis was submitted for NRC approval sad to ensure continued compliance with General Design Criterion 17.
NRC letter dated February 19,1991 granted approval of the installation of a generator breaker on North Anna Unit 2 and load shed scheme removal plans on North Anna Unit 1. The safety _ evaluation that accompanied the NRC letter discussed that ihe completion of the generator breaker installation on North Anna Unit 2 was planned for the first shutdown of North Anna Unit 2 following NRC staff review.
This letter is to notify you that the installation of the generator breaker on North Anna Unit 2 will_not be completed during the next refueling outage. The modification has been deferred.
Completion of the. Unit 2 generator breaker installation will be evaluated for inclusion into the Nuclear. Operations five year plan.
