SUMMARY

OF OPEPATING EXPERIENCE April 1984 With the exception of a few brief power reductions, Unit No. 2 operated at maximum licensed reactor power throughout the month.

On April 22, No. 26 main circulating water pump was removed from service r-due to a

suspected failure of the pump's lower guide bearing.

Preparations for replacing the pump with one of the new two-speed pumps w re initiated.

At the end of the month, all but two of the new Pegion 9 fuel assemblies had arrived at the site and had been placed in the new fuel storage racks in the fuel storage building.
