MAJOR SAFETY-RELATED MAINTENANCE - MARCH, 1983

1. Continued overhaul on reactor plant river water pump,WR-P-1A.
2. Containment instrument air compressor, IA-C-1A, was replaced after failing a surveillance test. The new compressor was tested satis-factorily.

SUMMARY

OF MONTHLY OPERATING EXPERIENCE - MARCH, 1983 March 1 The station was in operational mode 1 with reactor power through at a nominal 100% and the reactor coolant system at normal

During the month of March, Beaver Valley had the highest thermal output, thermal capacity factor, and electrical out-put of any month in the history of the station's operation.
