Docket No. 50-219 Request for Amendment to Provisional Operating License No. DPR-16 Technical Specification Change Request No. 122 Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.59, GPU Nuclear Corporation (GPUN), operator of OCES for Jersey Central Power & Light Company (JCP&L), is submitting a request for an amendment to Appendix B of Provisional Operating License No. DPR-16 for the As required by 10 CFR 50.30, three signed originals and forty copies of OCUS.
Technical Specification Cnange Request No. 122 are enclosed.
The Technical Specification Change Request includes:
- 1) Changes in location for three marine woodborer exposure panels; and 2) revised procedure for calibration of environmental monitoring instrumentation. Explanations for these changes are included as Attacnment 1.
A safety evaluation has been performed for this request and is included as Attacnment 2.
This change request has been reviewed and approved by the Vice President and Director Oyster Creek, the Plant Operations Review Committee prior to the implementation of the new Safety Review and Audit Program as outlined in amendment 69 to the Technical Specifications, and the Independent Safety Review The Group, in accordance with section 4.3.E and 4.5.3.B of the OCETS.
remaining documentation, consisting of the Notary Page, letter to the mayor of Lacey Townsnip and Certification of Service have been included as Attachment 3.
We have determined that this is a Class II submittal in accordance with 10 CPR 170.22 and have enclosed a check for $1,200.
