20500 ear Mr. President:
It has come to my attention that a nuclear facility on Turkey Point in South-O eastern Florida, which is run by Florida Power and Light a major utility in Florida, there is a leak that is releasing tens of thousn, nds of gallons of radio-active water a week, and almost a million gallons of the same substance in one l
i year.
I Florida Power & Light has dismissed the leak as being unharmful to human beings and to the enviroment #snite_ the fact that if a person tries to close up the leak, he can be kill at by radiation poisoning.
f I would recommend that you ask the Atomic Energy Commission, the Department of Interior, and the Council for Enviremental Quality to make investigations into l
this problem. Something must be done-and it must be done by you. Please stand up for the American people rather that big-buisnesses interests, before, you lose t
some of your constituents and voters-the easy way!
Sincerely Yours, h]
