RESPONSE
In its Memorandum and Order of April 13, 1984 the Board directed University to indicate whether any representatives of The Regents, other than counsel, had reviewed the statements made by Mr. Cormier in "Univer-sity's Response in Support of NRC Staff Petition for Reconsideration of the Licensing Board's Memorandum and Order Ruling on Staff's Motion for Summary Disposition", dated August 25, 1983, and in " University's Position Concerning Contention XX", dated December 13, 1983.
As explained in paragraph 25 of the declaration of Mr. Cormier (separately submitted) and paragraphs 1-4 of the declaration of Mr.
Ostrander (here attached), no other representative of The Regents reviewed Mr. Cormier's statements either before or after they were submitted.
These statements were reviewed after the Board issued its February 24, 1984 Memorandum and Order which first raised the question of a possible misrepresentation.
