In letter U-0647, dated July 5, 1983, Illinois Power sent to the NRC our schedule for activities associated with the Emergency Response Capability Implementation Plan. The purpose of this letter is to provide the status and schedule for resolution of the Preliminary Design Assessment (PDA) human engineering deficiencies resulting from the NRC CRDR/ Audit conducted in November 1981.
The evaluation of the PDA human engineering deficiencies is currently underway and is scheduled to be completed in July 1984. A report of the results of this evaluation will be submitted to the NRC in September 1984. Implementation of the resolutions that correct the human engineering deficiences will be completed in early 1985.
