APPLICANT'S TRANSMITTAL OF REVISED ENVIRONMENTAL QUALIFICATION REPORT FOR ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT As discussed at the hearing (Tr. 9729), Applicant is transmitting under separate cover to the Licensing Board and parties involved in the litigation of Contention I-42 copies of a revised Environmental Qualification Report for Electric Equipment (Revision 1) (" Report"). While the changes are indicated in the Report, the principal changes are as follows:

1. Response to NRC Questions previously submitted on January 16, 1984 (Applicant's Exhibit 30) have been incorporated into the text of the Report.
2. Minor changes have been made in Appendix B as indicated therein. ,
3. Appendix E, the Environmental Qualification Review Records, has been updated to reflect the changes in Appendix B and progress in completion of the qualification process including changes previously 0405010176 040427 4 PDR ADOCK 0D000352 O PDR h)

submitted on February 16, 1984 (Applicant's Exhibit 31).

The Report reflects that approximately 95 percent of the qualification for electrical equipment has been complet-ed. The Applicant does not believe it is necessary to make 1

this document part of the record of the proceeding.
