DOCKET NOS. 50 445 AND 50 446 SUPPLEMENT TO LICENSE AMENDHENT REQUEST 94-004 INCORPORATION OF THE NEW REQUIREMENTS OF 10 CFR PART 20 REF:
- 1) TV Electric letter logged TXX 94045 from William J. Cahill, Jr. to the NRC, dated February 14, 1994
- 2) NRC letter from T. J. Polich to C. L. Terry dated April 27, 1995 Gentlemen:
Reference 1 submitted TV Electric's License Amendment Request (LAR) 94 004 which proposed revision of the CPSES Units 1 and 2 Technical Specifications (TS) to incorporate appropriate references to and provisions of the new 10 CFR Part 20 regulations (20.1001 20.2402).
Subsequent reviews of this submittal determined that minor editorial or clarifying changes needed to be made to LAR 94 004: accordingly, attachment 2 of this letter provides the supplemental changes to LAR 94 004.
Via reference 2, the NRC issued Amendment No. 40 to Facility Operating License No. NPF 87 (CPSES Unit 1) and Amendment No. 26 to Facility Operating License No. NPF 89 (CPSES Unit 2) (Amendment 40/26). Upon receipt TU Electric noted minor editorial inconsistencies. Accordingly, of this letter provides supplemental changes to correct the inconsistencies noted.
The supplemental changes provided in Attachments 2 and 3 are editorial or clarifying only and do not affect the Safety Evaluation or the Significant Hazards Consideration evaluation associated with LAR 94 004.
