Abnormal Occurrence 75 Failure of the 1C Safety Injcetion Pump to Start Manually from Dus 16 j
Ginna Station Docket #50-244
Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
This is to confirm my phone call to Mr. John Hannon this morning to report Abnormal Occurrence 75-02 at Ginna Station.
L While conducting Periodic Test (PT-2.1), and following the sat,isfactory test of the 1-A and 1-B Safety Injection Pumps, the 1-C Safety Injection vn y ub M een 5: : ::.tc.* fw. uithet T2us 14 or bus 10, tatico to start manually on Bus 16 the first time it was tried.
The 1-C pump was started from Bus 14 and the pump test completed.
The pump was tried from Bus 16 twice since the malfunction and operated successfully.
The PORC met and reconrnended a thorough inspection of the breaker by the Electricians. Any further action that is necessary will be carried out after the Electricians report back to PORC.
