l In a letter dated August 31, 1994, Duquesne Light Company (DLC) proposed to amend the above licenses to revise Section 6, Administrative Controls, and include line-item improvements suggested by Generic Letter 93-07. The proposed amendment would also climinate specified audit frequencies, incorporate editorial changes resulting from regulatory action or organizational changes, and update the Unit 2 License Conditions to reflect completion of activities.
DLC hereby withdraws portions of the proposed amendments to the above licenses for Section 6 Administrative Controls. Section 6.5.2.8 was to be revised to combine the substance of the audits presently performed per Section 6.5.2.8(h) and (i) to assess the fire protection program at Beater Valley Power Station (BVPS) into one audit to be performed biennially.
DLC wouM like to maintain the audits of the BVPS fire protection program as separate items and. therefore, withdraws this portion of the proposed change.
Additionally, in Attachment B.for the Proposed Operating License Change Requests, DLC described changing the Quality Assurance program at BVPS to introduce a 25 percent grace period for audit frequencies. DLC has decided to withdraw this ponion of the proposed change.
