Dear Mr. Denton:
Section 8.4.8 of the Catawba Safety Evaluation Report discusses Confinnatory Item 37, Load Sequencer Accelerated Sequence. Therein the Staff requested confirmation of the adequacy of the accelerated load sequencing design utilized at Catawba.

Section 12.2 of this test verified proper operation of the accelerated sequence blackout loading. Copies of-the completed test procedure are available at the Catawba site for NRC review.
Very truly yours, S /x4~
