Dear Mr. DeYoung:
Please find attached Florida Power Corporation's response to the Notice of Violation in Inspection Reprot 50-302/82-25 and the Proposed Imposition of Civil Penalty relating to the violations. Florida Power Corporation has reviewed the records of those incidents and does not dis check for $pute the material information contained in the inspection report. Therefore, a l
50,000 (Fif ty Thousand Dollars) is attached and is remitted as required by 10 CFR 2.205(b) and the NRC Enforcement Policy 47 FR 9987 (March 9,1982).
As requested by the letter dated December 27,1982 from 3. P. O'Reilly (Regional Administrator, Region 11) to 3. A. Hancock (Vice President, N'iclear Operations, FPC), we have reviewed our management controls in this area and do not consider them deficient.
