Dear Mr. Clark:
Fort Calhoun Staticn Spent Fuel Storage Rack Expansion Omaha Public Power District's letter to the Commission dated March 12, 1982, fcrwarded for approval an application to install high density spent fuel storage racks at the Fort Calhoun Station.
The District's letter dated November 23, 1982, then informed the Commission that the District had decided to implement two changes to the high density rack design which would require modifications to the application submitted on March 12, 1982.
These two changes consisted of elimination of Boraflex from approximately 80 percent of the storage racks and a change in the racks' structural design.
Enclosed please find an updated application which incorporates these two design changes and the District's responses to the Commission's requests for additional information regarding our initial application.
To assist in your review, changes from our March 12, 1982, submittal are denoted by vertical lines in the right hand margin of each page.
