Letter, P.B. Fiedler to D.G. Eisenhut, dated April 15, 1983 The purpose of this letter is to clarify the due dates for three items contained in the reference submittal. The specific items are the summary report of the Detailed Control Room Design Review which should have a date of April, 1984, the final report on implementing the requirements of Regulatory Guide 1.97 the date for which should read May, 1984 and the " fully functional" date for the TSC and EOF. The date for the TSC/ EOF is SPDS dependent and should be the same as the date given for the basic.SPDS installation in Oyster Creek's Revised SPDS Submittal Schedule that was sent to the NRC on March 9, 1984._ The revised schedule states that the basic SPDS Will be available prior to restart from our cycle 11 outage which is presently scheduled to begin in November, 1985. We expect that subsequent enhancements to the SPDS will be made, along with the development of additional software, once the system has been installed and operated.
These clarifications have been discussed with our NRC project manager and are being submitted at this time to allow for their inclusion in the forthccaning Confirmatory Order.
