Our letter to you dated July 1,1983, stated the subject valves were returned to Transamerica Delaval for modification of internal parts and rework would be complete by. December 31, 1983.
Af ter considerable lead time in obtaining the required replacement parts, Delaval then determined the valve modifications could not be performed in their facility in' compliance with ASME requirements. Therefore, Delaval has returned the valves te the William Powell Company, manuf acturer of the valves, f or the neer.:ssary,modif1 cations.
It is now expected that modification of these valves and resh1prent to PNPP vill be ecmplete by January 31, 1984.
