The amendments reflect corporation reorganization of the Texas Utilities Ccepany (TUCO) and ownership interest of the co-permitees of the Comanche Peak Stean Electric Sta'. ion, Units 1 and 2 as follows:
Present GTexas Electric Service Co. (TESCO) 35 S/6%
- Texas Power a Light (TP&L) 33 2/31, cDallas Power & Light (DP&L) 18 1/3%
Texas Municipal Power Agency (TMPA) 6 1/5%
Brazos Electric Power Cooperative (BEPC) 3 4/5".
Tex-La Electric Cooperative of Texas, Inc. (Tex-La) 21/6%
- TESCO, TP&L, and DP&L are subsidiaries of TUCO.
- Effective January 1,1984:
Texas Utilities Electric Corrany (TUEC) 87 5/6%
Texas llunicipal Power Agency (TMPA) 6 1/S%
Brazos Flectric Power Cooperative (BEPC) 3 4/5%
Tex-La Electric Cooperative of Texas, Inc. (Tex-La) 21/6%
- Effective with the reorganization and as a natter of Texas law, all rights and obligations of UP&L, TESCO and TP&L will become the rights and obligations of the successor corporation, TUEC.

, Tha amendments are ef_fective as of January 1,1984 when the reorganization will become effective.
The application-for the amendments comply with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Comission 's rules apd regulations. The Conmission has made appropriate findings as required by the Act and the Comissicn 's. rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the amendments. Prior public notice of the amendments were not required since the amendnents do not involve a significant-hazards consideration.
For further details with respect to this action, see (1) the application for amendments, dated August 2, 1983; (2) Amendment flo. 7 to Construction
-Permits CPPR-126 & CPPR-127, and (3) the Comission 's related Safety Evaluation.
