111 and Facility Description and Safety Analysis Report (FDSAR) Amendment No.

79 submitted by our letter of September 2, 1983. The enclosed Technical Specification and FDSAR pages replace those of our previous submittal.

The recent order from the United States District Court Western District of New York stipulating the conditions for the removal of 224 spent nuclear fuel assemblies owned by JCP&L from the Western New York Nuclear Service Center in West Valley, New York has been enclosed for your information and use. GPUN would like to meet with your staff, during the week of January 9th,1984, to discuss the implications of the order relative to our intention of increasing the licensed storage capacity of the spent fuel pool to 2600 assemblies. We will also be prepared to address any questions concerning our submittal at this time.
