Conditions Prior to Occurrenqq.
Unit 1 in a refueling outage Unit 2 was operating normally at 100 percent power Unit 3 was in a refueling outage Identification and DescriDtion of Occurrence During normal operation, RHR pump 1C motor was observed to be sparking and smoking. The motor was shutdown and subsequently restarted.
After being restarted the motor tripped on overcurrent. RHR pump 1C was declared j
inoperable at 2045 hours0.0237 days <br />0.568 hours <br />0.00338 weeks <br />7.781225e-4 months <br />.
RHR Loop II was out-of-service, RHR pump 1A was the only RHR pump operable. This exceeds the limits of the LCO as defined by Technical Specification 3 5.B.9 RHR Loop II was placed in service at 2243 hours0.026 days <br />0.623 hours <br />0.00371 weeks <br />8.534615e-4 months <br />.

Apparent internal winding failure of GE Model No. SK6348XC23A, 2000 HP, 3-phase motor.
