This notification is an addendum to LER/R0 50-83/20-OlT. which was initially reported to your office oc October 28. 1983.
At 11:30 p.m.
on December 2.1983, a review of ultrasonic test data obtained during the current Unit Two Refuel Outage revealed a circumferential linear Indication in the heat-effected zone of weld 328-59. The pipe-to-cap weld Is a 22 inch weld on the Reactor Recirculation System ring header. This inspection was being perforated to cely with the guidelines specified in i.E.Bulletin 83-02.
