SUBJECT:
RECOW.ENDATION FOR SUPPLEMENTAL BOARD NOTIFICATION REGARDING CO2RECTIONS TO REPORT ON DIESEL GENERATOR BUILDING Board Notification 83-165 transmitted a report by a team of NRC structural engineers and consultants regarding the structural adequacy of the Midland Diesel Generator Building (DGB). The team leader, Dr. P. T. Kuo has sub-l sequently issued a memorandum (Enclosure 1) containing four corrected pages to that report.
I recomend that Dr. Kuo's memorandum be forwarded to the Board for infomation purposes as a supplemental notification to BN 83-165.
The NRC staff will determine by December 1,1983 whether or not the OH-OL hearing should be reopened with regard to the DGB. While these corrections are not of a substantive nature, the Board and hearing parties sh.ould be
