VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY NORTH ANNA POWER STATION UNIT 1 ,,

STEAM GENERATOR OPERATING CYCLE EVALUATION TRANSMITTAL OF THE WESTINGHOUSE WCAP REPORTS On August 6,1991, Virginia Electric and Power Company submitted a letter to the NRC providing technical justification for a full cycle of operation for the North Anna Unit 1 steam generators. This technical justificathn was provided in the form of a Westinghouse proprietary report, NSD TAP 1003, entitled " North Anna Unit 1 Steam Generator Operating Cycle Evaluation." Our transmittal letter discussed that proprietary and non proprietary versions of the report would be provided as soon as the proprietary information had been specifically identified and the proprietary and non-proprietary versions of the report had been prepared. This letter transmits the Westinghouse proprietary and non. proprietary versions of the above material.

Enclosed are ten copies each of WCAP-13034, " North Anna Unit 1 Steam Generator Operating Cycle Evaluation" (Proprietary) (Attachment 1) and WCAP 13035, " North Anna Unit 1 Steam Generator Operating Cycle Evaluation * (Non-Proprietary)

' Attachment 2). The proprietary aspects of this information is supported by an affidavit Attachment 3) signed by Westinghouse, the owner of the information. The affidavit t sts forth the basis on which the information may be withhold from public disclosure by the Commission and addresses with specificity the considerations listed in paragraph (b)(4) of 10 CFR Section 2.790 of the Commission's regulations. Accordingly, it is respectfully requested that the information which is proprietary to Westinghouse be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR Section 2.790 of the Commission's regulations. Attachment 4 provides the Westinghouse application for withholding proprietary information.

Correspondence with respect to the proprietary aspects of the Application for Withholding or the supporting Westinghouse Affidavit should reference CAW-91-193 and should be addressed to R. P. DiPiazza, Managet of Operating Plant Licensing Support, Westinghouse Electric Corporation, P.O. Box 355, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15230-0355.
