Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Docket No. 50-219 Revision No. 1 to Technical Specification Change Request No. 117 The purpose of this letter is to provide you with Revision 1 to our Schnical Specification Change Request No. 117, submitted on September 2, 1983.
h is revision to wchnical Specification Change Request No. 117 revises the Technical Specifications to reflect that a recirculation flow rate of 39.65 x 106 lb/hr is the minimum recirculation flow necessary for operation in IRM range 10 at this time.
his revision to Technical Specification Change Request No. 117 is being submitted in an effort to clarify the meaning of the 'Itchnical Specification change. This rewording explicitly states that the minimum recirculation flow of 39.65 x 106 lb/hr is intended for operation in IRM range 10 only, and not for all operation in the Startup Mode as originally submitted. This was the actual intent of the original submittal, as seen from the analysis of significant hazards attachment to the original submittal (copy attached).
Pursuant to the 10 CFR 50.91(b)(1), a copy of this Technical Specification Change Request revision has been sent to the State of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.
