SEQUOYAH NL' CLEAR PLANT (SQN) - TECllNICA!, SPECIFICATION (IS) CllANGE 91-04, I REVISION OF CONTAINMENT RADIATION MONITGk REQUIRLMENTS In accordance with 10 CFR $0.90, we ar e enclosing, a requested amendment to 1.irenses DPR-77 and Dl'R-79 to change the TSs of SQN Units 1 and 2.

The proposed change deletes the containment ventilation isolation (CV1) '

actuation s'gnal from the upper and lower containment tadiation monitorn. This change also provides, a TS 3.0.!t exclusion for the CVI inst rwnentation, revises the ac tion requirement for inoperable CV! >

l TVA intends to perform the SQN modifications to delete the CVI function  !

from the Units 1 and 2 containment radiation monitors in January 1992.  !

The other proposed changes do not require any modifications and can be [

implemented as soon as the changes are approved. Therefore. TVA requests  ;

approval of these changes by January 1992, with an implementation period .;'
