This letter provides an interim report on the subject potential 10CFR50.55(e) which was initially reported by Kansas Gas and Electric Company (KG&E) on June 20, 1983. Additional information was subsequently provided in Refer-ences 1 and 2.
i After reviewing the available information, KG&E has concluded that the l
identified concern is reportable pursuant to 10CFR50.55(e) and is in the l
process of developing corrective actions to resolve this matter. A final report (or interim report if necessary) will be submitted to you on or befcre January 28, 1984. In the interim, please direct any questions con-cerning this subject to me or Mr. Otto Maynard of my staff.
