SUMMARY

MARCH,1995 Oyster Creek entered March at 100% reactor power. Power was reduced on March 18 to remove the B-Feedwater String and replace the B-High Pressure Feedwater Heater's tube side relief valve (V-4-86). After the replacement was completed, the B-Feedwater String was returned to service. The C-Feedwater ,

String was then removed from service to replace its High Pressure Heater's tube side relief valve (V-4-87). On March 19, full power was reachieved and maintained for the remainder of the month.

The plant generated 466,040 MWh net electric and attained a MDC net capacity ,

~

factor of 101.2% for the month.

MONTIILY OPERATING REPORT l i

LICENSEE EVENT REIOR_I i i

)

LER 95-001 On Febmary 21,1995, it was discovered that the Service Water Radiation Monitoring (SWRM) System had not been functionally tested since May,1993. The Technical Specifications and Offsite Dose Calculation Manual require a quarterly functional test when l the Service Water Radiation Monitor is operable. This condition was caused by inadequate management oversight during changes to the site integrated scheduling process, master surveillance schedule and associated reports. Functional testing was performed satisfactorily, indicating that the necessary functions remained operable since the last test. This condition is considered eportable in accordance with 10CFR50.73(A)(2)(i)(B).
