Dear Mr. Miller:

Spent Fuel Pool Roracking at the Fort Calhoun Station In a letter dated September 9, 1983, the Commission issued Amendment No. 75 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-40 for the Fort Calhoun Station.

This amendment to the License and Technical Specifications was requested as a part of the reracking of the spent fuel pool at the Fort Calhoun Station.

A license condition was added to that amendment which required that the District notify the Commission in writing within two weeks after the event as to the follow-ing:

(1)

Installation date of the first new rack that contains Boraflex.

(2)

Installation date of the first new rack that does not j

contain Boraflex.

(3)

Installation date of the last new rack.
